the HEART OF THE STORY PLANNER

8.25 x 11 cover planner 2.pdf.jpg

As an author, I know how it feels to dive into writing when you have an amazing idea and can’t wait to start. But I also know how it feels when you don’t plan appropriately and then 20,000 words in, you get stuck along the way, and you’re just not sure where to go next.

I’ve been there.

Many, many times.

I’m currently working on my second book, and I knew I needed to up my game when it came to planning my novels. And so, a planner was born. Not only will I benefit from it, but other writers will as well. The Heart of the Novel Planner was created for writers who want both structure and emotional depth in their storytelling, making it an easy way to stay organised.

It’s designed to guide you from initial idea to final draft, helping you create compelling characters, layered relationships, and emotionally packed scenes. This planner will offer you a clear path through every stage of the writing process. Inside you’ll find prompts, worksheets, checklists, tips and information that will make planning your novel fun and engaging.

Whether you’re like me—a very loose planner who would like some structure, or someone who is a meticulous planner, this book will meet you where you are.

This isn’t about writing faster.

It’s about writing with intention.

WRITING a novel Worksheets

I've always been someone who loves to have a million and one notes. I write everything down-I mean everything-but it doesn't always mean I'm that organised.

My notes for writing my novels are generally written down in notebooks, on my laptop in a separate Google Doc form, or written messily on my whiteboard. The truth is, it's never actually that organised.

And when it comes to going back and finding a piece of vital information that I definitely will need to write my next chapter, it really does help if all my notes are in one place.

Which is why I created these novel planning worksheets. Not only will they help me with my future works, but hopefully, someone else who also needs a tool to write (or type) all their notes concisely, and plan their novel correctly from the very beginning.

The worksheets are digital and printable, and are meant to be clear, easy to work through, so that it limits making anyone overwhelmed with ten million questions.

This novel writing planner bundle includes thoughtfully designed worksheets to help you organise your ideas, deepen your story, and move from first draft to polished manuscript — without feeling overwhelmed.
